MAINTENANCE FOREMAN 

The successful candidate, will be responsible for the following:

• Assist with planning, staffing issues, ordering, loss control, and industrial relations.
• Supervision of all maintenance staff on a daily basis and the quality control of all work
• Planning for and allocation of all maintenance related work
• Ensuring that maintenance staff adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensuring that all maintenance staff are adequately trained and informed of changes in work-related legislation
• Planning and coordination of projects
• General staff morale and discipline
• Formulation of rosters and controlling staff  timekeeping.
• Accurate record keeping

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• Maintenance Management Qualifications. Qualified Artisan.
• One years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment with specific experience managing the maintenance department.
• Must be computer literate

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong administrative skills
• Self-initiative, self-confident and firm personality
• Good attention to details
• Excellent planning, organising and time-management skills
